    Before starting HASH Anita dug her grubby hands into nearly every corner of the book making world. She has been published in numerous literary journals, in print and online and is currently an MFA candidate at Mills College in Oakland, California.

  • Harrison B. Nuzzo, Poetry Editor

    Harrison is a poet, translator, and activist from Las Vegas Nevada. He is attending UNLV for his MFA and works with a non-profit doing food desert reclamation in the Las Vegas valley.

  • Brendan Nurczyk, Poetry Editor

    Brendan Nurczyk is a poet and writer from Jacksonville, FL. A lover of language and an advocate for literacy equality, he serves as an editor-in-chief for Élan and is an alum of the Iowa Young Writer’s Studio.

    Maryland born but Florida bred, Alex Gurtis is a poet and journalist based in Orlando, Florida. His work has appeared in W&S Quarterly, EcoTheo Review, Rejection Letters, and others.   • L.C. Lupus, Prose Editor

    L.C. is a writer, teacher and academic from Cape Town, South Africa, and he's been making and examining stories ever since he was one of those child creatures you sometimes see out in the wild. He loves fiction and non-fiction of all varieties so long as it's interesting, experimental and/or fun. Plus, he loves non-human animals (and at least a few human animals too).

    Hannah is a writer and zine-maker from Cleveland. When she's not writing, she can often be found wandering the woods. She lives with her husband, daughter, pet rabbit, and thirty-six houseplants.

  • Sara Marzana, Prose Editor

    Sara grew up in Italy, lived in the US and the UK, where she received her M.A. in Literature from the University of Essex. She teaches English, writes, and breaks free on the trapeze. Her work has appeared in or is forthcoming in Storgy Magazine, In Parentheses, Scribble, Fauxmoir, The Durham University Postgraduate English Journal and Exchanges: The Interdisciplinary Research Journal.

    Kirby Wilson is a writer from Hampton, South Carolina, which is home to the annual Watermelon Festival. She currently resides in southern Vermont, getting her undergraduate degree in Media Studies and Creative Writing. You can find her on Instragram @kirbyljwilson.
